Travel Information


There are three options to get to Samarkand from Europe:

1) Flying via Tashkent from those cities, which has direct flight connection with Tashkent (e.g., Frankfurt, Paris, London, Milan, etc.) and flying from Tashkent to Samarkand or taking express (Afrosiyob) train.

It takes around 40 minutes to get from Tashkent to Samarkand by air and two hours by express train.

2) Flying to Tashkent via Istanbul.

There are 4 flights from Istanbul to Tashkent every day.

From Tashkent one can take plane or express train.

3) Flying to Samarkand via Istanbul using direct flight (operates once per week).

All the participants will be picked up at the Tashkent and Samarkand airports and transfered to the hotel.

Those participants, who need to spent one night in Tashkent due to long flight connection, can be provided hotel near the Tashkent airport.

Participants coming from China, India, Japan, South Korea and other countries of South East Asia need to fly to Tashkent first and then take flight of express train from Tashkent to Samarkand.
